Terms & Conditions

  1. On booking, 20% of the total booking value is to be paid. Balance is due in full no later than 6 weeks prior to your wedding (there will be a charge for late payments of £15.00; deposit is non-refundable).
  2. By paying the deposit you are accepting that you have read and agree with the terms and conditions.
  3. All payments will be issued with an online receipt to your email address.
  4. Payments can be made by either on-line banking, cheque or cash. Cash payments will be issued with a receipt. We do not issue invoices via post as confirmation of booking is done via email. Bookings via cheque payments are confirmed once the cheque has cleared.
  5. No children under 3 years of age are permitted to travel in Priscilla by law due to there being no seat belts.
  6. In the event of a vehicle not being able to attend your wedding due to a maintenance problem, we will endeavour to find alternative transport. If this is not possible, a full refund will be given. This does not cover incidents which are out of our control i.e. delay due to traffic or an incident unrelated to our vehicle. No further payments or compensation will be provided so it may be advisable to take out wedding insurance to cover these events.
  7. In the event of a cancellation by the hirer, the deposit will not be refunded. Should the cancellation be within 6 weeks prior the wedding, the full price must be honoured.
  8. £1 per mile covering the journey to and from location.
  9. Smoking is not permitted in the vehicle.
  10. Food or drink are NOT permitted to be consumed in the vehicle unless those stated by the company.
  11. The hirer shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused both inside and outside the vehicles by themselves or any member of their party howsoever caused. This includes incitement to ANY third party which results in damage to the vehicle of its contents. The Hirer will agree to be liable for the total cost of the repair and North West Vintage VW will determine the location of the repairer. In additions, The Hirer will be liable to pay the company a fixed daily rate (determined by the Company) whilst the vehicle is out of commission for such repairs, plus any further incurred losses, i.e. lost bookings.
  12. North West vintage VW accept no responsibility for the hirers personal possessions, or those of any of their party.
